Integrated systems
| Safan’s integrated systems constitute a new category of machines for automated sheet metal working. In this revolutionary concept, the robots have been integrated into the machine. The first integrated system developed by Safan was the I-Brake, an intelligent press brake with two robotic arms.
Because the robotic arms are mounted on the frame horizontally to the left and the right, the floor in front of the press brake is free for the pallets containing the sheets to be bent. The use of two robots results in unrivalled flexibility. The robotic arms can work simultaneously for perfect handling of one long sheet, but can also bend two products at the same time in a single cycle. For the SAFAN I-Brake, the Safan Touch Screen has been refined even further. With the integrated TS controls, all products can be bent using graphic programming. |
